During the ProCell Microchanneling procedure, a sterile cartridge is inserted into the mechanical pen. This cartridge contains 12 tiny needles. Your esthetician will apply a thin layer of hyaluronic acid to your skin and customize the settings of the pen based on your needs. The pen is pressed and glided over the entire face, resulting in thousands of microscopic micro-injuries to start the skin’s healing process, in which your skin will naturally try to create more elastin and collagen, along with utilizing the hyaluronic acid that’s penetrating through the microscopic channels in your skin.
Directly following your treatment, your skin will be noticeably red. On average, our clients can expect to be red for 2–4 days after ProCell Microchanneling.
